Hi All!
It’s less than a week before the third book in the Charlie Joe Jackson saga comes out!
Entitled CHARLIE JOE JACKSON’S GUIDE TO SUMMER VACATION, it’s the funny, heartwarming tale of Charlie Joe Jackson, unrepentant non-reader, as he goes to camp and tries to corrupt a lovely group of innocent, hard-working children.
I don’t want to give away the plot, but I will offer this one tidbit. (SPOILER ALERT!) In the book, Charlie Joe discovers a book that he actually doesn’t hate.
I know – OMG, right?

ps my son loved your books….helped him transition into middle school reading where they had to take Accelerated Reading tests for every book he read….his goal for the year is 1 million words….at the beginning of the year didn’t think it was possible but now he is 2 books away!!!

I first found out about your book while weeding (don’t worry, the book stays!) I immediately told my fellow children’s librarian co-workers that they must read and recommend (and order) all of your books! Summer! My kid is almost finished with the first CJJ book. She’s laughed out loud so much while reading it I think I might have to read it, too. She is going to tell her first/second grade teacher about your books so that maybe she can order some for her classroom. My kid is going to be so excited to learn that their are more books in the CJJ series. And an autographed copy of the new one would be treasured by her, I am sure.
